New Purchases: Newtype July and Dengeki Daioh August

Bought a couple of new stuff today, Newtype July and Dengeki Daioh August. I haven found the time to read Newtype yet, so I’ll post pictures of the articles later.

Newtype July features a robot from GOTHICMADE, I’m not to familar with 5 Star Stories and GOTHICMADE but a friend once told me a little about it and all I can say is that the world in 5SS is awfully complicated.

But the mech designs are very very beautiful, they all look so sleek and fragile compared to the chunky Gundam mechs.

Newtype July also came with CLAMP Newtype. I flipped through a little and it’s basically about some of the animes that CLAMP has done. Like Tsubasa Chronicle, xxxHOLIC, etc.

Dengeki Daioh August issue was just amazing. Why? Because of the Shana figurine that came with it. I haven opened the box yet, I’ll probably fix Shana up tomorrow and post pictures of her. But if you want to have a glimsp of her, just take a good look on the bottom right side of the front cover.

The Shakugan no Shana doujin provide is pretty okay, I prefered the Zegapain doujin though. It was so damn funny. A lot of fanservice from the AI character from Zegapain, them changing from Meidos to every single fetish ever imagine, before they blew it up with the two male AI in a Swan Tutu (remember the one that Mikoto wore during the karaoke session in Mai-HiME? Yes, that one) clinging onto each other with your standard yaoi love pose. Hahahaha.
