Figurine Review: Dengeki Daioh (Sept)’s Shana Figure

I totally forgot to do a post on this lovely melon-pan chomping Shana figure that comes with the September issue of Dengeki Daioh. Dengeki Daioh will be launching another 2 more Shana figures, forcing me to buy it without any second thoughts.

I have a really soft spot for Shana, so since the manga and figure cost only SGD$19, it’s worth grabbing. Plus I really love the Zegapain doujin in it. It’s really really funny.

Like all Gashapon figures, Shana comes in parts. Assembling her was a little difficult because I had to force her uniform down her flat chested body. I’m serious, they made no attempts to even give her humps. The base is rather useless since the figure is not attached to it, but the green color adds flavor to the figure.

Shana’s ahoge is moe. Rosy pink cheeks that screams “SQUEEZE ME” and an awfully cute pose when she’s nibbling her melon-pan. Completely different from her usual tsundere stance.

And the complimentary butt shot.

Overall for such a cheap price, this melon-pan chomping Shana’s just so hot. And putting August’s Shana together with Sept’s Shana adds more flavor to everything. I can’t wait for Nov and Dec’s Shana.

AND I WANT TEH MOVIE.

   Doesn’t it occur to you that it is rather expensive for such an ugly figurine?

   Now if they make more Ichigo Mashimaro ones that’ll be a mustget.

   I personally feel that the melon chomping one is the only good one to get… The others appear to be of poorer quality.

   Anyway, I really must agree abt the difficulty in putting her uniform on… I wonder if the makers are trying to prove a point about her being as flat as a board, as her having anything there would make this already difficult task impossible… You can even see her ribs too if you look closely.

   I have had that issue on my bookmarks since before it was availble to be purchased online, and I still have not purchased it. I just do not have the extra money for it.
   Hah, I bet every Shana fan is going crazy waiting for the Shana movie. What I am really going crazy waiting or at least hoping for, is a second season of Shakugan no Shana season. I am getting tired of waiting.

   It’s a fucking small figurine. It’s one of those rare cases whereby good things DON’T come in small packages. And I thought the Shana figurine thingy ends in October’s issue? Never knew they were planning for moe. I mean more.

   I dun really remember December having a shana. And I thought November is the one with 2 versions of Shana. Which also means, you gotta try your luck and might have to buy more than 2 copies of Dengeki Daioh~

   Grr.. u reminded me that I didnt have the August one. T_T

   T_T|||: I think it looks good. Not too sure whether it goes on to Dec actually. I only know there’s 4 of this Shana figs out there.

   4? But what I read in Hobby Japan it’s only 3.

   August – Flame Haze Shana
   September – Melon-pan munching Shana
   October – Mizugi Shana
